Razer Warns Gaming Community of Recent Sponsorship Scams!

Razer has always taken e-Sports seriously, being that we’re serious gamers ourselves. We are aware of an increasing number of incidents where individuals have posed as Razer representatives to scam and deceive other players, in some instances leading to financial damages for the victims.

Razer does not condone such behavior, as it damages the credibility of e-Sports as well as victimizes unsuspecting players. To prevent further incidents, we have created a process to verify any form of sponsorship by sending an email message to sponsorships@razerzone.com.

Please include “Sponsorship Verification” in the subject line, so that our team can take swift action and verify the validity of your communication or sponsorship proposal. We strongly advise all team managers and players to take similar measures to prevent similar situations.
