Changes are inevitable, even in rosters that seem to be formed. That rule has even more sense when it comes to such disciplines as Dota 2. To stay at the top, sometimes, you have to make difficult decisions.
Today, we inform you that 
Andrew "Mag" Chipenko is leaving Empire family. This talented player joined us in late 2013 and soon became an integral part of the team. Andrew start playing under tag of 
Team Empire after iCCup. Together we have had a long and difficult path, which had both ups and downs.
Many of you will remember Andrew for his great games as a part of Team Empire. His Void at The International 2014 will be remembered by all fans for a long period of time. Also we shouldn't forget that Andrew has been the captain of our team. We thank him for all the way that he went along with the Empire, and we hope to see him on a professional Dota-scene. By the way, Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok becomes the new captain of Empire!
Talking about the free spot in the roster, we were in no hurry with the choice and during last month have tried different variations. At first we had SoNneiko playing as a support, and Solo trying himself on offlane, then we decided to return to formation where Solo and: ua: ALWAYSWANNAFLY played supports.
As a result, the name of our fifth player is unlikely to surprise anybody. Maxim "yoky-" Kim who has played a lot of games as a standin, becomes the last part of the puzzle. Offlane is a new call for him, because in his former team HR he played as a Midlaner, but Maxim has already proved his ability to show crucial performance at the DreamLeague.

"It was a very interesting year in which we had a lot of ups and downs. I hope that you will keep in memory only the best moments. It was very nice to play with the guys, but as you may have noticed that we had not an easy situation inside of the team recently, so the decision was forced on both parties.
I have problems that I need to solve and it requires some time. I decided to take a little break from the professional Dota. Special thanks for their help and support to owners of Team Empire - Nevod and Sarmat, as well as to my managers: StrangeR and AnahRoniX.
I am really grateful to all the people who supported me on this path. because, without you, there would be nothing. I wish a good luck to my ex-teammates, and I hope that they will reach their goals. As for me and my future plans, I will try to share with you in the near future.".

"I associate a lot of positive moments with Andrew in Team Empire. He was our leader of our new roster all the way through and has done a lot of teamwork. But recent ingame trends and reshuffles have led us to changes, and now, Andrew is leaving our team.
We thank Mag, for all that he has done for the Empire! We wish him good luck in his future esports career and new victories.
From today all the responsibility for offlane role in our team goes on yoky-, who proved himself being a good and promising player in the competitive Dota. We wish him success in his new role and welcome in his new home - Team Empire!".
