By reason of recent decision of Siw'a to finish hie esports career, our lineup for team leagues had a gap once more. Young teammates of elfi are still too inexperienced to get a permanent spot in the team, so we had to look for other options.

It didn't take long to find a solution. Once again you will be able to watch Pavel Kuznecov playing for our team in official league games. As an old friend, Brat_OK agreed to help us and we quickly came to an arrangement. Pavel doesn't have any contract with other team at the moment, so, the road to joint victories is open.

First match we'll play today against Copenhagen Wolwes in Euro Series Summer 2013. Game starts at 20:00 (CET), don't miss it!

Nearly on the eve of  WCS Challenger Europe Season 2 matches, we should inform community not really good news. After long thinking, Vladimir "Siw" Syzranov decided to finish his entire esports career.

In the end of 2011 Siw also announced his retirement from Starcraft II, but that decision was caused by emotional outburst, so, next year Vladimir had already returned and was actively training.

In January 2013, Siw returns to Team Empire and demonstrates great level of performance at online tournaments. Later, in HoTS Siw passes to the group stage of WCS Premier League Season 1. But, during last two weeks player took pause, analyzed situation and made his decision. Statement of the player is below.

01.08.13 - Moscow, Russia. Team Empire and Ence e-Sports are glad to announce start of partnership within StarCraft II discipline. Ence e-Sports is the leading e-Sport organization in Finland and from now on, their star player - elfi will participate for Empire at team leagues.

Since Empire had parted with terr: Brat_OK and Beastyqt, roster didn't have enough players to take part in team leagues. In the last few weeks we were actively looking for new players.

Tournament went without any surprizes. Having no problems with his opponents till final, Happy got there. In grandfinal our terran faced one of best protoss players in Europe - Verdi. But this fact didn't help him against Dmitriy. Difficult victory 3:2 and another 100$ in pocket of the Emperor. Congrats!

One more triumphal Zotac Cup is over. Our team was represented there by  Dmitriy "Empire.Happy" Kostin. Imperial confidently went through the grid to final without losing even a set. There he crushed  Na'Vi.LoWeLy with a score of 3:1 and finally became a champion. Title and 100$ were put into the pocket, congrats!

The only protoss of our team was also almost as successful this weekend.  Vladimir "Empire.Siw" Syzranov took worthy second place at Go4SC2 Cup, losing only to Acer.Nerchio in a pretty close struggle - 2:3. But, we totally shouldn't be upset: Vladimir has shown an high level of gaming and just missed a little bit to obtain victory that is so important for him. His best games are in future! To sum up, I would like to suggest that tournament came out to be a good level one. A lot of well-known players didn't even get to quarterfinals!

It's really sad to grasp that after a year in Team Empire, Brat_OK leaves the team. About reasons of such decision and what caused it you can read below in statements of both sides.

We are grateful to Pavel for his stunning streams, for maybe not so major but important wins, for his contribution in development of Empire.

Despite the fact that Brat_OK isn't part of team anymore, it doesn't mean we completely finished cooperation with him. It's quite possible that you'll see Pavel in our projects and on  EmpireTV
