Seagate and Team Empire at Gamescom 2013!

From 21 to 25 August, the gamer community meets again in the halls of the Cologne Trade Fair. Seagate, one of the world's leading hard drive manufacturers will be present at this year's Gamescom and show its current SSD and SSHD storage solutions at the booth of its partner XMG (Schenker Technologies) in hall 8.1 at booth B010.

Visitors can enjoy the fastest gaming notebooks from Schenker – including the new 13.3-inch Notebook XMG P303. In addition, Func shows the latest developments in gaming keyboards, mice and headsets and Ballistix introduces modern gaming memory extensions.

Seagate presents the latest SSDs and hybrid hard drives, which can upgrade the XMG devices up to multiple terabyte size:
The new Seagate Laptop SSHD combines the speed of a solid state drive (SSD) with the capacity of a hard drive. So it delivers up to 40 percent faster storage performance compared to previous generations. In addition to the technical innovations, visitors of the XMG booth will be entertained by live performances and DJs. Special highlight: Seagate sends the pro-gamers of Team Empire on stage for a match against the e-sports professionals team of Mousesports which takes place on Saturday 24.08. 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The game will be played for a cash prize of € 1,250. Moreover, Gamescom visitors will have the chance to play against the professional teams on Friday and Saturday and to win € 250.

Every day there is also the opportunity to win two brand new Seagate Laptop SSHDs (500 GB) every day at the XMG booth.
