Nearly on the eve of WCS Challenger Europe Season 2 matches, we should inform community not really good news. After long thinking, Vladimir "Siw" Syzranov decided to finish his entire esports career.
In the end of 2011 Siw also announced his retirement from Starcraft II, but that decision was caused by emotional outburst, so, next year Vladimir had already returned and was actively training.
In January 2013, Siw returns to Team Empire and demonstrates great level of performance at online tournaments. Later, in HoTS Siw passes to the group stage of WCS Premier League Season 1. But, during last two weeks player took pause, analyzed situation and made his decision. Statement of the player is below.
Vladimir "Siw" Syzranov:
I've made a big decision today - to finish esports career. I've been thinking about it for a long time, so, this time my decision is final.
Esports was a part of my life last years, but now, I don't see any prospects here. StarCraft no longer brings as much pleasure as before.
Lately, I had tried to take a pause but that only convinced me that my decision is totally right. Thereafter, I won't play at WCS challenger. I wish good luck to my teammates Kas and Happy at WCS and other future tournaments. I am really grateful to people that creered for me.
Aleksandr "StrangeR" Solomonov - Team Empire manager:
To tell the truth, this decision was a total surprise for us. But, I accept it and welcome fact that Siw is sure about his choice. Team Empire wishes Siw good luck beyond esports.
As for the team leagues, at ESL Euro Series we will play together with Ence e-Sports, information about competing in other leagues will be announced later. We have two strong players in roster - Kas and Happy and at the moment this line-up is optimal for this discipline.
